driveaxle help

My outer boot on the passenger side was ate up like a pitbull got ahold of it. I bought the whole shabang so I could just slide the sucker in w/out a problem. Damn this thing was harder to put in than trying to stick my d!@k in a virgin. Anyways I finally got it to go in and put evrything back together. Once I test drove it I heard a loud ass thumping noise that seemed to be vibrating from between the transaxle to the middle of the the driveaxle. Can somebody please tell me what could be wrong & what I can do about it?

you have to slam the axle into the tranny hard to get the c clip to clip or you could just have something loose.

Sounds like what Rob said or that you didnt tighten down the axle nut to spec. They need 132 ft/lbs of torque and you need to be careful you dont crossthread the nut when installing it. Also make sure you put the castle nut back on the ball joint and that its not flopping around.
