Help With Radio Wiring !!!!
i got an eg hatch and no matter what i try it aint the same as every other radio i hook up -- does anyone have a color diagram for the stock radio wires?

im assuming the wires are cut. U need to get a light tester so u can find your 2 power sources(1 power will b all the time and 1 will b when u turn the ignition on) then just pop ur speakers out to see what color wires they are, then u can just make a new ground behind the dash somewhere. Simple as that. Ive done it plenty of times, cause ppl wanna b cheap and not buy a harness($5-$10 dollars at wally world), so they end up cutting the factory plugs(Idiots!!).

i just did this yesterday...oem dc2 deck into an 88 civic.
I tried matching all the colors and the radio didn't work. all colors matched up except for the 12V switched. I connected yel/red in the chassis wiring to whi/grn on the radio harness. the oem radio asked for a code and worked properly afterwards.

in my case 12v switched from pin D was whi/grn.

Ya boy wit the clean teal green civic, with the jdm headlight and that gsr interior, and that single cam non vtec, the chiped ecu, headers and gun meatal rota slips, the tv's from the roof, indash jensen, and that viper alarm that keeps yall away from haveing it all!
