Today i was driving around hawaii in my island beater 4dr civic lx and i was backing out of a parking spot and i heard a small pop, i tryed to put the car into 1 or any gear and nothing, only and small scraching sound but the speedo still moves "but not the car at all even in reverse"in each gear like al the way up to 50mph in 5th gear, i dont know if its the clutch or tranny any ideas?

 

hmm maybe it the axle that just pop into my head...

 

Check and see if the axle popped out of the tranny. If that happened you will need to replace the pin that goes on the axle.
