'92 Acura Legend issue.
Let me start by saying that I am car retarded. I have NO CLUE when it comes to cars. Well, I got an Acura Legend LS from my friends who gave it away because of cosmetic damage. Car had been through a LOT of work. After they had given it to me, the blinkers went out (flash box), the radio has a short in one of the wires, and it started having a little trouble starting. As time went on, it stopped shifting correctly, it got to the point where I had to drive my car in the D3 in order to go 45 without reving 5000+ RPMs. That worked for AWHILE with me putting in more trans fluid every week. I assumed the problem was the trans. Then my check engine light came on... Then, everytime I would accelerate, my BRAKE light came on, then my ABS light would come on. Today, my car decided it would overheat as I was driving down 75 trying to get to work. I turned on the heat and it didn't bring the temp down any, so I get off of the road, while my car was in D3 but the D$ light kept flashing... It was reving high again, and my car just staled out when I went to accelerate. Now, after doing some reading, I'm thinking this is all the cause of the head gasket, but, I need some of your feedback. I have NO experience with cars. My car is an automatic, by the way. Thanks in advance

Sounds like you have more issues than just a head gasket. For the turn signals, check a fuse where ever the box is and see if its not blown. or the actual switch might have gone out. For the radio, you might just have a lose wire in the back. Transmission...you might just have to replace. Honestly, hate to say it, this car sounds like its not worth fixing. i would sell it to a mechanic or start off parts cause this thing might start running up a nice bill since you are unsure about how to fix it.
