B16 THrottlebody on a Gsr manifold

B16 THrottlebody on a Gsr manifold
I have a bored out b16 throttlebody that i would like to put on my skunk 2 Gsr manifold but it seems the throttlebody is too long and hangs over the manifold creating a vacuum leak. Do i need to just get a different gasket or will this just not work?

I do not think that it will work either way but I could be way wrong. my reasoning being that the gaskets are way different and different for a reason yet unknown to me. try it out, the gaskets are only a couple of bucks.
