b16a2 turbo q's
well alright guys i already have a b16a2 swap gsr tranny....its already turbo..50 trim.but im looking at going a little bigger either 35r or sc61 this is on ym daily ...its decent right now but i want a little more power...i have supporting mods , injectors fp and such and tuning software....but wondering what size injectors would be best for my application?? and what power range would it be safe at right now with a stock b16 pretty much...im looking towards around 300...could that be done on 8-9 psi?
im also looking for a top mount manifold if any1 knows sum1?
thanks tampa

A 50 trim can easily make 300whp and with the right supporting mods 400whp. Going to a 35R or SC61 and only running it at 300 whp is a waste and the car will actually be a little slower (turbo lag). Hp is Hp if your not running the turbo out of its efficiency making 300whp on 15 psi out of a 50 trim isn't any better on the motor than making 300whp out of a SC61 at 8 psi. Don't get hung up on how much power a stock block can handle in psi, think about in terms of hp and 300whp is doable even on the 50 trim. If you are looking for an upgrade from the 50 trim and actually want the car to have a better power band, look into a 30R or Bullseye S256.

my friend has a b16 in his EJ1 with an sc61 on 9 pounds. it turbo lags like a bitch. on the highway, he'll be ripping in 4th gear at 6000 rpm and only making 6 lbs of boost. at 7800, it spikes to 9 pounds which is his max. so speaking from experience, i wouldn't advise going with the bigger turbo, my friend only made 263 whp on a full tune on 9 lbs. you can do better than that with your current setup.
