fuel pump problem

Default fuel pump problem

ihave a walbro 255 pump on a hatchback sending unit an i have a crx car with the crx hf pump but the walbro works only if you have more than half tank gas but the the hf works like normal help me

Not installed correctly. The pump is sitting too high up in the tank

Thats funny because I have the same problem and it didnt start happening until like 5 months after I installed my walbro 255. It actually started after I drove a 2 hour trip to bradenton to run my car...it always worked fine until then now if I let it drop below a quarter tank the fuel pressure surges from 30psi to like 45psi and back which makes the car act real funny.

yea i fixed it the warbro pump doesnt fit right u have to turn it it the same place as the factory one idiot before installed it wrong on the sending unit

Mine was installed correctly...thats why I was asking why it is acting up.
