Default Known Accord Problems?

94 Honda Accord
f22 non vtec motor
automatic transmission

the car seems to be eating a lot of gas, my mom says she put 60-70 dollars in it last week. i find that to be a extreme amount, considering i put like 35 a week in my honda, IF that.

anyways the gas gauge is crazy, it like will show it has nothing at all until she is driving for a while, and then it kinda kicks on, and it moves around as she is driving.

once the car gets to a 1/4 tank, the car will kinda stall if you slam on the brakes or take a turn and get on the gas too rough right from a turn.

is there any known problems at all... or anthing i can check or do to help her out... any help would be great, thank you!!!
