Default ac question? help me please!!!

ok i got a 94 civic ex when i bein driving my ac is blowing real cold but i come to a stop it stops blowin cold it just blows warm air can anybody help me? why does it do this?

does your fan stay on? does it have a proper charge? I would guess that the fan isn't staying on. hook up some gauges, if your fan is working, and watch the high side. if it sweeps through the range of the gauge, it isn't being cooled correctly. check and see if you have dirt/leaves/bugs/shit embedded in the evaporator. also while the gauges are hooked up, make sure the a/c cycles correctly. if all the above are good, with the exception of it cycling correctly, chances are it is time for a dryer replacement. if it is not, a new compressor may be needed. but overall, I vote for the fan not working .

or it wasn't vacuumed off and filled correctly.

blockage? I would say to test the cycling of the system first.

go rent some gauges from autozone, read up on how to test it and how to use the gauges, test the system and return the gauges once done. that is virtually free
