I just put in an Autometer Air Fuel ratio gauge to help me to
tune my fuel settings through my VAFC. I know some of the basics
of what to do but can someone enlighten me on what to look for
how to read the gauge and what adjustments to make and just ALL
the information you can throw at me???????????

The Autometer...hell any of the air/fuel gauges that get their signal from the stock 02 sensor are pretty inaccurate. Youll mainly get a nice light show. The only time it will be really usefull is at full throttle where you can see how rich/lean you are running. You can tune the fuel map according to this input but it would be a wiser choice to get the car on a dyno and do it that way. But dont feel that it is useless or anything. You can still get data from it and tell the cars running condition. I know mine has helped me identify a bad ignition problem and a lean condition so far.

just a though i want to put in is that maybe u could buy something like pistons or cams something along that line insted of gages but its not my money

p.s egt only probly work effectively on trubo cars
umm $45 for an a/f guage is not going to buy you a whole lot of go fast parts.

As far as the whole why bother on an NA setup it is always good to monitor how your engine is running I think any car that is driven hard/raced should have at least an oil pressure guage and an a/f or egt guage. You can screw up an NA motor almost as easy as a turbo motor if you dont have your fuel and timing right.
