What is the usual cost for boring and honing a block? Also if I decide to get a set of .25 over usdm ITR pistons how much displacement and compression would that increase over stock bore in a (ls/vtec-b16a head)?

If I decide to get a skunk2 im can I just transfer everything from the b16a head (1st gen) over?

Thanks for all input.

Thanks for all the input.
The usdm itr pistons (stock bore) should yield a compression ratio somewhere near 11:1 should the increased displacement not increase the compression ratio a little bit? Please enlighten me.

Can someone here give me the number to DAWNS shop?

Stupid ls/vtec question: I currently have a B18A in an 88 CRX SI. Im using the SI wiring harness...I think Im suppose to continue to use this and add the 3/4 necessary wires with the B16a ecu. Do I use everything from the b16a head...do I need to change anything?

Robster...Im in the process of gathering the parts...Ill let you know when Im closer to getting all the parts. This is Scotts friend in Ocala right. This is Ken in Gainesville.

The compression ratio w/ .25 oversized usdm itr pistons in
lsvtec w/ b16a head is 10.9:1. The difference .25mm makes
in compression in your case is about .05 of a point not
much at all. basicaly just rounds 10.8x up to 10.9.
