Default high compression and pump gas?

................pr3 pistons 12:2:1
p30 ecu......how we lookin ,to high for a daily driven 93 pump gas car?

its only 11.5:1 Im doing the same build. Get it tuned on 93 and you should be fine

i used tht zeal autoworks compression calculator.....^^^tru ... it will be spray time soon

With GSR head it is close to 12:1. That compression ratio works if the tune is good with cams with large enough primaries to bleed off compression to avoid detonation at partial throttle.

damn i only have ITR cams,not to far from stage 1 sk2's...is 11:9:1 safe with a stock ecu??
im pretty much not tryn to tune

Set your base distributor timing to 12-14 deg btdc (2-4 degrees retarded) and you will be ok to drive it on the p30 ecu. Your fuel map will be lean due to the displacement & compression differences.

I would ultimately suggest getting the ecu chipped & tuned.

Spend the money for the tune. You can't just go and throw parts at a motor and expect it to make power. If you don't want to tune run a stock motor with i/h/e and be done with it.
