If you were aiming for a 12 second turbo civic
Which engine would you use (bang for buck):
Keep stock sohc and build it up
B16- hey if kubo can run 9s on one its gotta be doing something right
B18b- the cheapest torque and no VTEC to deal with
B18c- getting expensive but has shown to be good time and again a plethora of parts
B20- no vtec fairly expensive but torquey
H22- uncommon more displacement to mess with less parts available moderate price

I would go with the LS...I will be building a 12 second street car and it will have an LS motor in and should be in the 12s with everything for less than 3000...including the LS motoe...dont ask me how ar why its my secret...LOL PM ME

i like the b20 idea i saw some where on line 850 for a long block
if u guys say its so easy to do how come there anrt very many 12 second turbo civics runing around that spend less then 3 k?
might be posible but surely not easy
