Default Top end stuttering/power loss

In my top end, anywhere from 6000-8200, my car stutters like there is a continuous loss of power. Now there are 2 things that I think could be the cause of this. The first thing is an exhaust leak. I know I have an exhaust leak at where my head meets the header. One of the bolt holes is stripped so im missing a bolt on the header. Could this be the cause of my power loss? Or the other thing I think it could be is my timing. The other day I set both of my cams to TDC and the mark on my crank pulley is about an inch off from the mark on my timing belt cover. I'm not really sure what that means though, other then the timing is off somehow. Any ideas on what could be the problem here?

The motor is a JDM b18c Sir-G with lsd. Stock JDM headers and an AEM short ram, lightened flywheel and stage 2 clutch are the only modifications.

Set the crank pulley where it should be then set your cam gears and put the belt back on.

A stupid thing to check but.... check the rotor in the dizzy... i had one that was loose and it would wobble at high rpms and make the car stutter and lose power..

also if your timing is off def fix that before any other problems arise.....
