Default Road Trip Checklist

Hey guys I'm going to be moving to Kansas City Kansas by the end of september. What are some things I should check before taking the drive?
I'm going to be getting the turbo fixed and probally would need a cheap tune just to get up there because I'm gonna need to retune it when I get up there. I currently have stock struts dropped low should I replace the struts with something else I was thinking skunk2 any thing better for the price or should I not worrie about it? My transmission grinds secound should I look into fixing that? My clutch is slipping I'm going to fix that before I go up there. My passenger side axel boot is cracked should I replace that since it's leaking grease or should I wait? What are some other problems I should look at before my trip. Should I raise it up a bit before the trip so my exhaust is more then 2 inches off the ground lol.
This is going to be my first road trip and it's going to be about three days since that is how long my mom wants to take on it, she will be driving her prius. What are some things I should bring with me incase I need to repair the car for any reason.

I debated selling it but I can get the car perfect running order for around $1000 and if I sell it now then I'm gonna be stuck getting a crappy car up there.

Fix clutch.
Tune up.
Boot.
Get a tune!

Dont worry about your grind.

Also a flash light is always good for long trips. Extra oil, etc.

A little common sense can make a trip alot easier.
