have bad idle problem..... help
ok here is the deal have 92 civic dx with d16z6 swap has skunk 2 intake and other parts the problem is i idles between 1000 rpm and 2500 rpm . (note this my friends car) we have changed every thing we can think of gaskests senors even ecus can someone giveme a clue cause i am thinking of buying the car for my wife for a project, can someone help

the car runs good just when you are stoped at red lights it idles like crazy between 1000 rpm and 2200 rpm when it moves its fine

had the same prob with mine an it wasnt the tps. it was something on the bottom of the throttle body. it has some water hoses going into it take that off an see if the spring thing came off. if so put assembly back together an put it back on the tb. fill with water an see if that helps. i had a friend help me with mine. an watched him do it.hope this helps good luck. this only helps if the idle surges. if not iacv or a vac leake.
