00 civic coupe wont start ...please help!

Default 00 civic coupe wont start ...please help!

So I was turning onto an intersection and the engine just shut off.....I try to turn it back on...........the engine turnsss but doesn't start......what should I do? please help.....

my first thought is to check and make sure the timing belt is not broken.

x3 happened to me. timing belt jumped some teeth somehow. just re adjust your timing if it f'ed up.

lol if the timing belt snapped while running on the street, your motors done for good most likely. interferance motor you have there, equals pistons and valves smacking each other at high rpms.. equals bye-bye to motor

Yup, Start with the basics...

Fuel. Turn the key the the start position, if you hear the pump kick on then you go to spark. If, not check your main relay.

Spark. Pull the plug wire off and put a plug in it. Rest it on the block and crank it. If it has spark go on to the next. if not, check the ignitor in the dizzy.

Check your timing...

There are several small factors in a Honda motor. Start with the small easy ones and work your way to the harder ones.
