What do you think of this civic?
1996-HONDA CIVIC LX-!!!!!!!!!LIKE NEW CONDITION-!!!!!!!!COLD AC- does this civic have a v tech? Would this be a good first car for some one?? I would only put a nice set of rims on it and tint the windows is this a good car?? thanks chris im looking to buy one in the next 4 days.

sounds like a good deal,MAKE sure you test drive it"as long as you want put acouple miles on it"then when you guys get out the car dont turn it off let it run for couple mins to make sure it does not overheat at all!!!plus check when you first start up the car for smoke out the muffler..then as the car is ideling open the hood listen hard for any rattles knocks or LOUD TICKS

its a automatic and a lx so i do not think it has v-tec.
also be prepared to pay more than $3500 due tag and title fees plus tax.
so out the door you may be looking at a little under $4000.

ugh.... auto tragic....
Make sure to test drive it..... hondas auto trannys love to shift when ever they feel like it... cause most people do not flush the trannys and refill with honda auto matic fluid.
also 3500.00 is a little high....

Also lx doesnt have V-tec..... i think it has a D16Y7 non vtec 1.6 liter... Slow as dirt with a auto tranny.... I have this same setup in my 97 hatch back..
