help. wat tranny fluid should i buy?

Default help. wat tranny fluid should i buy?

i was told u can put oil in ur tranny. but i would like to use syncro mesh . where can i get it. ? is there anything u prefer?

you can buy syncro mesh at discount. I use regular oil in my tranny 10w30.

I would use either Honda fluid, or the GM shit, both available at any auto parts store.

you cannot buy honda mtf or gm syncromesh from ant auto parts store. those are dealer only items.

Go buy Pensoil Syncro mesh at Auto zone.(discount dont carry them).. or Go to Honda and Get there tranny fluid.

+1 on the penzoil syncromesh. basically the same thing as the gm syncromesh but cheaper.

You guys should read up on syncromesh, I would never put that in my transmission. Honda MTF ftw. Yes Syncromesh will make your grinds "go away".

^^ i've heard bad stuff and good stuff about syncro mesh.. but i've used them in many of my trannys and it ran great for many miles.. my 02cent.

Syncro mesh = cheaper than a new transmission.

If you're grindin might as well use it till the tranny goes.

I use GM Syncromesh i picked up at the local pontiac dealer. Got it at dealer cost since I work at honda. Not much more expensive than Honda mtf really. And it cured a few grinds..
