ok so i have a 90 crx hf and i did a b18b1 swap. its suposably rebuilt o miles. i think i got ripped b/c i paid 800 for just the motor and tranny and had to get everything else ( even a oil return tube good thing i opened the oil pan) anyways to the point. i go to crank over and wont start. i have some one swirt gas in the t/b then ill keep turning it over and playing with the throutle and then holf it wide open and sometimes it starts that way. when it does start it wont idle i have to hold gas down a little bit and idles a little ruff. my main cuncern is theres LOTS of smoke. alot come out of the valve cover..... y??????? some friends say its off by a tooth and since its rebuilt smoke will some out there for a little bit. i sont have that pan/guard thing that goes right underneth the crank in the oil pan can that cause the prob? i have new plugs,wires, sparkplug ring/gaskets for valve cover/ valve cover gasket.
