Talking Important- Pls Help

I Drive A 1994 Accord Ex And I Have Coilovers On It. My Struts Are Blown And So My Car Is Extremely Bouncy. I Went To A Shop And They Said I Needed To Replace All Four Of My Coilovers. My Question Is Can I Just Take The Struts Out Of The Coilovers And Replace The Struts And Just Put The New Struts In The Old Coilovers? Or Do I Really Have To Replace Each Coilover With A Brand New One?

P.s: If I Have To Replace All Four Coilovers Should I Just Buy Lowering Springs And Struts Instead Of Coilovers?

a nice shock and just a reliable lowering spring had a better handling and will save you $$$ too.

If the coilovers were setup too low they probably blew out your struts, especially if theye were factorys. I would do a set of inexpensive KYBs and a set of drop springs for a better ride or keep ur c/o's if desired. LMK if we can help give us a call
thanx

i had blown rear struts with coilovers...

Bought some GR2 struts and put the old coilovers back on... rode fine... no more bouncing down the road.

I rebuild most brands of coil overs... you can't just replace a strut on a threaded body coilover it's important to find out why the units failed.. I've done failure analysis on several blown dampers and can in most cases set them up not to fail again..

if you have sleeves you may want to make sure you replace the shocks/struts with ones with shorter bodies to keep them from bottoming out.. it's a slippery slope, honda suspensions are so good, they just keep feeling better and better as you lower the car until it's too late.

what brand do you have? chances are I can rebuild them, I also carry 5 brands of replacement dampers and can help cross reference the parts that will work correctly.

To rebuild most dampers it's $150 each.. and I will inspect the entire kit so you don't have to spend any unneeded money. my shop number is 813-333-1100 I'm Jeff and the only one who works here.
