Default Accord ECU problem

Sorry for this, I did search.

My wife drives a 95 Accord LX Automatic F22A Non-Vtec
Well the ECU is bad according to a mechanic that's helping us on the side. I believe her stock ECU is a P0B. Well I came across a P0A ECU out of a 95 F22A Accord EX Automatic with Vtec.

My question is will the ECU(P0A) hurt the non-vtec engine?

If so I guess I have a P0A for sale and am looking for a P0B

Thanks in advance

The p0a will not run the non-vtec f22a properly as it should.

It won't hurt the motor to drive on the ecu, however its not designed to be used on the non-vtec motor.

Thanks for that. I'll try installing it and if i notice problems i'll uninstall it. I don't see why it would run abnormally if i dont have the proper vtec gear to make it engage vtec.

Any other opinions would be great for this until i do the install in a couple days.

Thanks all
