Help Cam Shafts tranny DIY
I'm buying a B16 that needs a new tranny and I want to upgrade the drive tran. BUT, opening up and engine is foreign to me and I don't want to F anything up. Is there a DIY anywhere on how to install new cams, rather it be ITR cams or Skunk or whatever. I know I need to adjust valves with ITR and even replace the vales and springs with skunk or toda and re time the cams... again, foreign to me. Also, is removing the tranny and putting on a new one as easy as it sounds? Remove wheel, axle, tranny mount... 6 bolts... take off, replace in same order?!?!? SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!! Thanks!

Your post doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Would you like more information on swapping your camshafts or replacing your transmission? Maybe both? Have you heard of this really cool thing that the internet has now, it's called Google?

if the inside of an engine is foreign to you, pay someone fluent in it to do it. please.
the gearbox, however, is straightforeward. with the right tools and equiptment, no more than 4 hrs for a rookie.
if you want i have a brand new ITR lsd still in the package i can install it for you just send me a PM.
