question about aftermarket intakes
Just wondering if you get better or worse as mileage after you install an aftermarket air intake. Seems like since I put mine on I burn more fuel. Maybe I just did a lot of driving and I dont notice it lol anyone?
Change in fuel mileage will be completely negligible.
Actually you should technically get less. Colder air is denser, and therefore takes more fuel to reach the same Air fuel ratio. Which is kinda the point..more fuel, more air, more power. Also one of the reasons some people get great gas mileage from their turbo vehicles (when they can keep their foot out of it). The turbo warms the air slightly, needing less fuel to get to stoich.
