Ok I was trying to Adjust my clutch pedal but 2 things keep me from doing it. One I cant seem to turn the PushRod Lock nut without the whole Push Rod Turning. Ive tried to hold the rod with some grips so I can turn the nut but it doesnt work. Also I cant seem to reach the Clutch interlock Switch nut with any of the tools I have. Has anyone done this before? Any tips Tricks or suggestions would be welcome. Thanks

if its a hydraulic clutch ( i thought yours was) you dont adjust it. you replace it. Hydraulics are basically self adjusting. not like cable clutches

It was told unto me by Endyn that I might want to do a under-dash pedal -throw-out adjustment Because Ive been having some problems with Engaging my first gear with the CM stage 3 clutch. My First gear has always been somewhat notchy but with the new clutch its driving me crazy enough to want to remedy it.

Sangui is right you can adjust the clutch. Basically all you do is loosen the nut loosen the interlock and clutch switches rotate the rod to the desired lenght and then reverse of what you did.

I dont know how youre having problems its pretty simple. I could have sworn there were indentaions for an open end wrench on the rod to aid in turning it and loosening the nut.

The problem is I need a stubby 14mm wrench cause there isnt enought space to losen the clutch interclock switch nut. But my main problem like I said was the push rod nut. Look at your clutch pedal (if its a hydro like mine) Notice at the back of the pedal area there is this pushrod that extends from the firewall to the rear pedal area with a nut attached to it. If you try to losen the nut (atleast on mine) the whole thing turns making it nigh Impossible to losen it. Ill try and give it another wack later. FYI my clutch engages without a hitch at 1-3 mph. From a deadstop however its sometimes a workout.

Heh Yeah I guess thats the only way to do it. Ive heard that twice now. But for me the second to first thing doesnt always work. I guess its just the nature of the beast.

Thats the problem youre having?!?
Jesus man its perfectly normal. This whole thing was already discussed in a previous thread. If the second to first shift doesnt work blip the gas lightly while in neutral and then engage into first.
