Default Integra Leak

I've been getting water in the trunk of my dc2, figured out some of it was coming through the antenna hole, deleted the antenna/motor and plugged it, however, the trunk is still taking in water.

I think I located the problem, below is a picture of the hatch glass molding area from the passenger side of my car. This side is fine, but on the driver side it seems like the rear window molding has a much larger separation from the frame compared to this side. I poured water over that part of the hatch and sure enough, it drained right inside.

My question is what's the best way to treat this? Silicone? Is my hatch not aligned properly? Help!?

It's probably the sunroof drain tube.

I'll take shots tomorrow, I removed internal panels, drain tube was still intact and didn't appear to be wet anywhere....

I'll check again in the morning when I have more light.

Alot of times the gasket on the tailights goes bad, i had that problem with prob all of my old tegs. Once you remove all the plastics you can get a better gauge of where the problem is.

It's coming from the tail lights. I had the car painted about a year ago, the gasket must be bad.

You guys think I should just use some silicone? Should I replace the gasket?

A new gasket is $40 from Acura....Kind of pricey for a piece of rubber IMO!

Good point. I'll let everyone know how it all goes tomorrow after I get it all done. I'll take some pictures too.

When you remove your tail lights you'll be able to tell whether or not you can reuse your old gasket or not. Its really hard to reuse them because at some point they just fall apart. Look on tr ur can find someone who will prob just give u them. When I replaced mine I used Silicone and a new gasket and it worked fine.
