I have a skunk2 intake manifold and im trying to use a d16y7 throttlebody on it but it wont let it go on right. the piece the throttle cable hooks into is what is keeping it. any ideas or suggestions as to where i can get a throttlebody to fit. or what throttlebody do i use? thanks!

Can you get pics of this? It should go right on.......well with all honda TB being the same.

 

It's the cable arm? I have one that may work, it's made for a B16A but it was for the Skunk2 Intakemanifold........Or get one from a Teg.

 

what motor is the Manifold for?

I believe b18 TBs fit. And they are bigger in diameter.

 

manifold is for a d16z6 i need a map sensor too so thats why i was looking for a complete throttlebody i was thinking what about an auto one does that piece stick out further?

 

the y7 t/b is all kinda bass ackwards...its made to mount with the opening up....i have a feeling this has somthing to do with the problem. get a b18 t/b or any other d-series.

 

really? i just figured it was the same as any other t/b hmmm..... well if anyone has a complete t/b they wanna sell and that i can try before i buy lmk.
