spray on a sohc

Default spray on a sohc

where can i find pistions an rods that i can spray on an they wont melt??

you can spray on a single cam on stock pistons its the head thats the weak point there

+1 i sprayed my 230,000 mile d16y7 for a year on a 75 shot i went through 2 bottles a week at some points and the worst that happened was clutch went and melted a valve both were cheap and easy to fix.

well it also depends on how much you wanna spray, its only a single cam, if you want a good motor to spray on do an ls swap

lol than listen to your boY!! Seriously you can spray a stock motor as long as is running healthy and is 50-75 shot or less..

It's been a while for me...

Depends on the type of setup you're running, and how much you want to spray. I've seen stock Y8 motors take 100+ wet.

The key to keeping the motor healthy is to keep the A/F ratio in check. Generally the D series bottom ends can handle around 200whp safely.

If you're going for cheap horsepower, I'd stick with a 50 dry shot and call it a day. Back the timing off a bit if you're worried.

I am running a stock z6 with a 100 wet shot and i made my valves purple lol but the compression on the block is 179-182-180-182 I will throw another head on and keep spraying ha
