Default ecu?
If the ecu is fried say it gets water in it, will it throw a check engine light if the ecu is bad?

Usually if the ecu totally fails, it will throw a solid MIL no matter if the service connector jumped or not.

Ok thanks john. Yea the ecu is bad and three rods are bent. In the process of getting rods right now.
