A stock Dseries can handle 225-250 whp just as well as a Viatra piston setup.

If anything invest your money into CP or Weisco pistons & eagle rods.

yeah i'm looking to go with eagle rods but the vitara pistons lower the compression and i thought that would be better for a DD turbo...am i okay to go with the CP or Weisco then?

Correct, just buy some CP or Weisco pistons & call it done if your going to build the motor.

Like I said before the stock Dseries motor can usually handle 250, if anything lets loose such as a ringland, then go ahead & take it apart for some eagle rods/forged cp/wiesco pistons etc.
