Default code 13 baro/ atmospheric pressure senor

my 90 civic hatch w/ a z6 boost is throwing this code. come to find out previous owner of the shell had cut this portion of the wiring out along w/ the senor. what kind of problems could this cause? my main issue is that i just got a basemap from xenocron to put in my socketed pm6 put it in and the car wont run at all. the ecu is a know good ecu as ive used it before. if i put in a stock pm6 and go back to the vafc hack it runs fine so i know it should atleast start. anyhow just wondering what peoples opinion is on this

what it sounds like is that you need to have the basemap setup to disable the baro sensor or fix the issue with the wiring.. ) in alot of cases in FL the sensor isnt needed since we are located on sea level. but somewhere in the moutains the Baro sensor would help you out, as it will adjust the tune according to the densedy(sp?) of the air..

As for not starting. its sounds like the basemap might be off a bit.. That happens sometimes even with well known tuner basemaps, every car is diff.. best bet is to have a local tuner disable your Baro in your basemap and go from there

Im not sure where it is located on OBD0 setups. But your 2 choices are to get a used one off a old car and wire it in. or have someone disable the sensor on the chip. Like I said. since we live in a area where there is no large increases or decrease in altitude. not running one will have nmo affect on your running car. I disable the PA(Baro) sensor on almost every car I tune, unless they plan on going mountain driving, and even then the affects are little to none

BTW. I do all OBD-0 ECU chipping and tuning
