Default D15B7/Z6 single-cam vtec problem.

d15b7 block with d16z6 vtec head, got problems, if anyone has any suggestions, it has proper spark to all plugs, getting fuel, relays are good, all engine grounds are in place, turns over like a champ, but won't fire, quick response would be very appreciated. thanks.

if it's getting spark, has fuel pressure, and is properly grounded, it should fire. but check the coil with a ohm meter to test it out. refer to this website to get an idea of what you're looking for, Advanced Ignition Troubleshooting - Team Integra
i know that isn't your motor, but it is pretty similar as far as operation. hell, you may have some loose connections within the distributor which are only noticeable once you take the cap and rotor off! it's worth the shot!

your original post didnt say if you checked the ground, look at the negative baterry terminal, follow that wire till you see where it grounds out onto the blow, take it off, clean the connection areas and put it back on.

i just had to do this to my moms accord, the wire was shreaded a bit and everytime any water touched it, the car would not start, so just put electrical tape around the exposed wire and it fixed everything.

good luck with everything, but definately try the grounds. its quite common with Hondas
