yes I was..............You were going to come out and chip 2 of my cars about a year ago, then said you had some problem with your car that day and could I just mail them to you. I said that is fine and you said call me tomorrow to get the info. I called, and called, and called.......you never called me back, but my friend Joe had no problem getting a hold of you to drive to z-hills and tune his CRX, witch you did come out and he said you fried his ecu and you were going to come back out with another ecu and finish....guess what you never came back, nor did you pick up the phone when he called you.................. I am glade you made it out to do Troy and Dans car.

I just don't get it, if you can't take the customers then just pick up the phone and say so.

I called John Vega and he picked up the phone on his "DAY OFF". Even helped me with some other problems I had later. A+ for him...........

I am glade he did me the favor and chipped my PW0, because I was pretty much stuck when you said you were going to do it and never did.

Well enough out of me, there are enough threads on here bashing you.

To answer your ???

Vega will chip your OBD0 but will not tune it and there really is no one out there that will (that is worth a damn). Go OBD1 and then your good to go.

 

CBurke, ur right, that was a long time ago, and im sorry about that. I was having some issues back then getting thing down right, and over booked myself big time. but thats past stuff and I have been working x10 to make things better.. And your friend failed to mention I didnt charge him anything to come there and his ECU was broke to begin with. I told him I would fix it for him and I couldnt. anyhow send PM's if there is a prob.

BTW I dont EVER have a day off, ask anyone I have ever worked with. I work 24-7, 365, with my tunes, questions and builds ....no BS

And the only time I was bashed was by CJ about the ECU/tune and tipperlude about the block.. thats it. name 1 shop that doesnt have a few customers that where not happy??? even Vega has a few customers that dont care for him, and he does good work. thats how things go. it sux but its life, and im not gonna keep bringing it back up..

despite what anyone has to say, John is a great tuner. yes he may be hard to get ahold of sometimes, but who isnt? ever tried calling a business and not getting an answer? i know i sure as hell have.... the man runs a business on top of having a regular job.

yes ive had issues with getting ahold of him in the past, do i bash him for that? no! because he has always came through in the end.

and like stated above, Vega, Alpha, along with all the other tuners out there have had some sort of bad reputation for some reason or another. but you dont see people going around a year or 2 later bashing them over it.

Yea, John is hard to get ahold of , but he does come through sooner or later lol.

 

I must say John went out of his way to make sure my car got done I dont think any other tuner would have put the effort into helping me out the way he did. Vega is a very helpful as well he helped me out alot as well and do to conflicting schedules he didnt get to tune this car for me, but I dont regret having Solero tune my car.
