I want to put an LS crank and rods into my GSR block with pr3 or p30 pistons exactly what would have to be done to make this work . I hear all different stories i need like true facts like (someone who's done it already) about what needs to be done . Any and ALL help will be greatly appreciated,Thanks.

It bolts up fine, no special machining needed. Sometimes the crank counterweights will hit the bolts for the oil squirters and they (the bolt heads) need to be machined down a bit.

As for the oil squirters the gsr block uses squirters built into the block to cool the pistons. On an ls setup there is a hole in the rod that matches with a hole in the rod bearing to throw oil on the piston. On an ls cranked setup with oem cast pistons choose one style of oil squirters or the other, by not running both you will have more oil pressure at the bearings. My choice would be to keep the gsr squirters and run b16a rod bearings on the ls rods. The b16a bearings are a better tri-metal type bearing that is the same size as ls bearings but do not have the oil squirter holes in them thus eliminating that type of squirter.

You can also run the gsr rod bearings which are better than the ls bearings but the rods need to be machined to accept them.

Thanks alot man ,so i can either choose to keep the oil squirters or eliminate them and everything else just bolts up. What about the main bearings and thrust washers which ones do i use gsr or ls
