question about dropping a 96 integra
im putting eibach 1.4in. drop springs all around was wondering if i will have to get a camber kit. someone told me if you stay under 1.5in. you wont need a camber kit. i just had new tires put on so i dont want any unusual wear. the tire size is 195/55/r15. thank you for your time and help.

So, I was told the same myth that "If you stay under 1.5 inches, the camber will not be off" and I am here to say that the myth is not true. I dropped my DA (your's is a DC? yeah, it still applies!) with some Eibach Pro-Kit springs (1.4 in the front, 1 in the rear) and my camber is off all around!! Better yet, I replaced all the LCA bushings, the UCAs, the struts, the strut tower bushings all around and the damn alignment was still off! Better yet, I bought a cheap ass front camber kit which I do not advise you to do!! Do yourself and your new tires a favor, stay well within the camber and toes limits and buy a GOOD CAMBER KIT!! A good choice is Skunk2, another is buddy club, and another is Revo Technica, from what I can tell! Better yet, do some research, obviously you have the internet so that should be easy and quit wasting your money, or just give it to me!! !

if you lower a car at all, your alignment is going to be off. on any honda. also, if your car is lowered without a camber kit, 99% of shops wont touch it as far as alignment goes. they just physically can't align it without a camber it.
so, if you want to lower it and want to save tires, your going to need a camber kit.

yeah, that is more proof, but don't just take our word for it. live and learn...

but seriously, they have front and rear camber kits on ebay for around 40 bucks. if you don't do any serious road racing or anything harsh, they will do just fine for alignments and save your tires. they are very simple to use and install as well.
