Would it be worth replacing GSR pistons and rods and cams with ITR or CTR pistons cams and crower rods?? With the supercharger at 6psi would it be pushing it to be bumping up the compression ratio like that? I dont know too much about the type r lift/duration numbers but what other cams are good for supercharging? The goal being to launch a street legal daily driven crx well into the 12s with a b18c1 jrsc at 6psi basic bolt-ons (i/h/e pulleys and cam gears) and tuning. Constructive criticism is more than welcome.

hi um this sounds somehow familiar... i will be swapping my stock intake cam back in at some point to see if i get a gain. right now the idea on the block is that the crower cms i have have too long of a duration.

I am always amazed when I hear of hondas running forced induction setups with less than 10 psi...my car feels like a turd at anything below 12...lol Gotta love that 7.8:1 compression

So... being that I just dynoed my GS-R with 1325miles on the Odometer and the peak HP at the wheels was 134.4 with the torque at 101.0. I really dont know the route I should go for F/I... I had a torquey Mitsu V6 previous to this rocket and I was going to go turbo on it... Being that I am new to the Honda engines I dont know what would work best... running a SC at 10psi for the full RPM range or running a Turbo at 14psi for half the range...?? Its that damn question EVERYONE asks... Turbo or S/C...

p.s. - My goal is to have a fun daily driver that can do some smacking at autocross and a little spanking in the 1/4... tough goal since the autocross is completely different from the 1/4..

sorry about those numbers man. was that on 3 cylinders?
