I was removing the plugs out of an engine I just got and one of them broke leaving the spark plug thread inside the head
. Is there any way to take it out without disassembling the engine and taking the head to a machine shop?
thanks.

Well in order for it to break one of two things happened. One it got heat siezed or two it was cross threaded. Either way youll need to remove the head to get it out since you dont want metal shavings falling into the cylinder.

Maybe what I wrote was not clear the thread broke inside the head but it is still threaded where the spark plug goes. I was thinking about a drill extractor but the drill does not reach that far down. The other thing was to use a screw extractor and a socket with an extention but the problem is that all screw extractors have a sqaured end making it non-compatible with regular metric sockets. Any ideas??
