Default ls/vtec build

Im planning on doing an ls/vtec built, i have eagle rods and plan on gettin a b16 or gsr head and lsvtec kit. my questions is would a stock head be able to handle 11:5 high compression pistons? would the head need any work to it can protect valves and etc...

possibly later down the road sprayin on it and would like any info on this, how different will the motor react from spray on high compression pistons as to low compression 9:5 pistons on eagle rods... iv done spraybefore jsut not with a build so im asking for any usefull information which will be rep'd!

your going to need allot of fuel to support spray and compression . your valves should be fine , but it would be a good idea to get a good set of vavles springs and retainers . iv ran 11-1 with a 100 shot on a stock gsr head . just make sure u get it tuned for spray .

yes stock head will be fine at that compression. no u shouldnt use 9.5:1 compression pistons for spray bc spray likes high compression. upgrade the fuel system and valve train. tune. done.
