My friends car has died the past three days in a row. Took it to honda, cuz his bro is parts mgr there, and they replaced the main relay and the wires the first time, and the next day they replaced the cap rotor and coil. They said all is fixed. So i go and get the car for him today. I get about 4 miles away and the car just dies again and won;t start. I let it sit for hours and nothing. So i pulled the sparkplug wire off, held it up to a screw and had my dad crank it, and no spark. So its got to be the igniter at this point. I am good with hondas, but i never got into the dizzy part of it. So i'm guessing the igniter is the little square box that has 5 wires coming out of it in the dizzy? and if so i have a 91 da ls sitting as a parts car in the garage. The whole bitch of it all is 91 OBD0, 92 is OBDI so i have to swap igniters. Any info would help... thanx guys

 

So i swaped the igniters after all of the info i got... The car runs, the tach works now, and the cruise control works again...
