tunning VAFC HELP!!

Default tunning VAFC HELP!!

well i finished my turbo build and now my tuners in the hospital. this car is my dd and it kills me to drive it untuned. i do have a apexi vafc wired up, and i know they can be used to do some minor tuning. i know people on here are going to bash on this thread and say ditch the vafc or just dont drive it, but thats not an option.any help is appreciated

honestly id say contact vega n get a basemap n pop the chip in. that would be the safest and easiest route to go until you can get it tuned. tuning boost isnt as easy as n/a. u need to compensate for turbo size, boost preassure, timing, etc etc etc. if you dont know how to tune your better off getting a basemap until someone who does know can do it for you. especially if your using the vafc. please for the sake of your motor, baby it for now and get in contact with someone else that can tune or mr. vega.

put the stock injectors back in and stay away from boost.

^lol....yea get the ecu chipped and chill and be easy until you can get to a dyno....

homemadeturbo.com theres a formula to dumb down larger injectors when using a vafc. alot of people also post there settings so you could find one closest to your setup. although all engine do not run the same and altitudes will be different. my boys been running his vafc hack on 440s w/ a 14b for a few months now. no issues and he drives it everyday.

contact john vega at phearable and get a base tune. less than 200 bucks and youll be safe until you get tuned
