k so im gettin some extra cash here soon n want to invest in some ctr cams for my setup. i kno that i should probably upgrade the vavles/springs/retainers to go with but i wont have the funds for that. so my question is will i be ok to run them on the stock gsr stuff provided that i keep the rpms at a resonable level...say 8200 AT THE MOST? or will i end up floating valves and messing things up. ive basically rebuilt this motor from the ground up and the last thing i want to do is mess it up. ill be the one street tuning it so i can set the rev limit to where ever is safe. any input is appreciated. intellegent answers will be repd. please keep the b.s. out. thanks!

 

if you dont have the money for the springs and retainers i would not do it,if your that set on it Then Just Use the Intake cam tiLL you get money to buy springs and Retainers.Stock Vtec retainers suck
