ttt, just trying to get a little feedback.. i just wanna know if it is possible to salvage after something like (having no oil in engine and seizing up) that has happened. or would it be better to just simply buy a new motor?

Yes it can be fixed, but you will have to re-build it. Take it to a machine shop when it's all apart and they can tell you what you will need and can keep.

Here is a good place I use
813-621-2979
It's in Brandon.

The head you have should be fine, but still needs to be checked out.

Good luck

I will be selling a D16Y8 here pretty soon, after I get all my swap stuff.

Witch in the long run would cost you less, but you know whats in the motor if it is re-built.

iv seen an engine lock up from no oil....we refilled it with oil and it started up and drove for months. it just all depends on what/if anything is damaged, and how bad.
