Running rich

I think my car is running rich (friends driving behind me complain of smelling gas when i floor it) What can i do about this? I cant afford a vtec controller....are there any serious risks of running rich?

All hondas run rich from the factory its safer to run rich than lean. adventually your O2 sensor may fail but if it does your motor will throw a code.
Dont worry about it till you can afford an AFC.

Running rich on Hondas is normal. They are kept running that way from the factory to act as an octane cushion. If you get one hell of a bad tank of gas or use some shitty grade you wont be in much trouble.
