Default Exhaust leak ftl

Hey guys/gals I recently had an exhaust leak so I brought it to the shop and they said it was my gasket between my block and exaust manifold. Well I just got done switching out my gaskets to find out that the exhaust leak is still there and seems worse then before. I can feel the air moving right by were there used to be a crack on the mani so I don't know if that is were it's coming from. I'm going to give it a few minutes and go out and check to see if my bolts are tight enough. If it is the crack that was welded how hard would it be to seal that? could I put header wrap around it?

Header wrap will only muffel out the leak you will need to get a new mani or get that one fixed again hope this helps and gl.

Welp turns out I have a cracked manifold no wonder this guy sold me this kit for $300 bucks. What is a good place to get a exhaust manifold welded or get a new one for cheap that dosent use a external wastegate and will still allow me to keep my ac.

look on ebay. or u can try to find a greddy, drag, or blox manifold for cheap. they are all cast n not tubular. the ebay manifolds are junk. they crack even with braces. im sure you have a boost leak as well. my vote is try to find a reputable cast manifold. edelbrock also makes a decent one.

No reason to blame Alan because you bought a eBay turbo kit off him.

Buy a Blox or Drag cast manifold, they will work fine for you. I also suggest you get a better intercooler setup for that car.
