Default Sort of having brake problems

I have a 94 civic EX. My parking brake doesn't work, it has disc brakes so my thought is that the previous owner did the swap but did not get the parking brake cables. Where can I get these cables from? I have tried searching but came up with nothing.

You may not need to get new cables, you might just have to adjust the ones already on there. Typically when the rear brakes are replaces the parking brake needs to be adjusted.

To do this remove the center console around the parking brake handle, lift the rear end of the car (back wheels clear of the ground), put it on jack stands. On the parking brake handle you'll see a little nut that attaches to a cable. Click the parking brake a couple of clicks and while someone slowly spins the back wheel, tighten the nut untill the back tires start to drag, and eventually stop. Put it all back together and your good to go

Hope this helps you.

BTW: incase you do still need to order the cables here's a link:

it sounds like it's stretched way out, or not there. When I replaced the brakes on the back of my car the parking brake was the same way.

BTW: your sig. is pretty creepy, lol. Is that from a movie?

^ I'm not sure where that .gif is from I just found it on the web.

Also if I was to find out that I have no cables at all what will I need to get from that site? Keep in mind that I have disc breaks but unfortunately I don't know what car they were swapped from or if they were swapped at all. Did 94 EX's come with 4 wheel disc brakes?

Wrong...

only Canadian civic ex's have rear discs.

US ones have rear drums...

unless it is a SI...

most people swap the rear disc's from 94-00 integras. or 92-95 civic Si's.

I have a pair of E-brake cables off a 93 Si if you need them.

The Ex's have bigger front rotors. and bigger Rear drums then other civic models.

looks like you can use the ebrake cable off most civics...
