need help with vtec
im new to this. i purchased 97 coupe hx it used to be automatic the guy i got it from swap it to a 5 speed and the vtec doesnt kick in at all and i dont know why and if the trany swap had anything to do with it please help me with any info or were i can get some info from thanx

Is the check engine light on ?
