I brought the link here because this is the Honda Tech forum, and the car in question was my Honda Civic. I thought other Honda owners would have a feel for the repair costs and other aspects of dealing with repairing their specific type of car.

It's good to know about because this guy may be trying this in the area, and you should be aware of it to not be taken. People who give others the benefit of the doubt may be susceptible.
