Hey I drive a CRX with a b16a1 and I am thinking about getting a JRSC.

I was wondering what you guys think about used JRSCs.
Good idea? Bad idea?
There are a few used JRSCs that fit b16s that I know of that are fairly cheap but Im wondering if it is safe to get a used one. One of them is $1200 for the complete kit but it has 7000 miles on it. What do you guys think?

Any advice would be greatly apprietiated.

i have talked to Jackson racing about used superchargers they are not to happy to work on used superchargers.But shit 1200 thats crazy. look at some of the upgrades that endyn make for the charger and you will want one.

well a friend of mine has a used one and payed jr to rebuild it and they did it for him with out any questions asked. now if you are looking for one right now i know a certain gentleman on this board who has one for sale and i believe it is new although i could be wrong. he goes by the name of ryuujin_crx and he bought one for his b16a and will not be able to use it. if you are serious or want to check it out i would say pm him and check that sum bitch out

might also want to chech the spelling of his name before you pm him i might have messed it up

Dont do it. Specially the used ones they suck big time..j/k.

For what I understand they really wake up that b16a a lot specially on a light weight car like the CRX. Dammit only if I could afford a JRSC.

Wont you need to get new mounts if you add the JRSC to the b16 rex? Im usuing Hasports and I know theres not enough clearence for it back there or at least as far as the pullys are concerned...or am I wrong?
