you need a 3/4 impact air tool with a big tank, so you can hold it on for a while before it looses pressure and needs to build back up. thats the only way.

dude, you can't just put it in 5th gear and try to spin it.

Someone has to be inside the car STANDING on the brakes. If you don't have the brakes hooked up and are just trying to leave it in 5th to break it loose, of course the crank is still going to spin!

If you find a way to secure the crank, you'll be able to break the bolt loose.

then something isn't right.

You might want to consider figuring out how to jam the axles so they won't spin, because I can tell ya, only a very powerful air gun will work.

whoa holdup, now you're gonna drop the trans out so you can get to the flywheel and jam it?

5th gear someone holding the brake
a corded impact gun with about 250 ft-lbs
i am out of ideas with everything i try the pully still spins.i think the key is on the pully is either stripped or missing

told ya the electric impact wasn't gonna work. Those things aren't up to the task of crank bolts.

gotta find a way to stop the wheels from turning. Your brakes should be holding it....maybe drop it on the ground, let the tires sit on the ground?
