and this comes from my perspective of okinawa, but there is none here. sure there is a del sol here, and integra type r there, hell even seen some new gen type r civics running around, but other than that NOTHING. especially when it comes to getting parts for hondas: autobacs, up garage, stock style etc dont stock honda parts and ordering takes FOREVER; only s chassis, chasers, skylines and anything else rwd/awd. its true we have the cool front ends and the cars come with the motor your want without having to swap over, but thats it. you guys have the ability to get parts right then and there sometimes.

i came to the island with that mentality. even had purchased an evo IV ahead of time. sold that, bought a 2.5T skyline to trade with some officer for a GTR.

and you know why i didnt keep any of those? road tax. jci. insurance. road tax for the GTR was about 150. jci was about a grand and insurance for 6 months was over 2k.

Always has been! Very weak over there when it comes to the Honda scene. I heard they don't even do the Civic N1 races anymore, due to lack of cars and sponserships.

 

not really LHD civics, but there are a few local national car clubs that have mustangs and camaros. down south in Naha there is even a low rider [us spec cars] club. other than that S chassis + chaser + the Marks > anything on this place.

if you ever come here, dont be fooled by the low low prices of the car. I picked up my evo IV for 3200, then i got here and saw everything else i had to pay.
